The University of London Bachelor of Laws LLB
The University of London Bachelor of Laws LLB has been the first step in the careers of thousands of practising lawyers around the world. The reason so many students internationally study this law degree is because it is very prestigious. Other reasons are:
- The Mode of study is online;
- The programme duration 3-6 years (Standard Entry LLB) or 3-6 years (Graduate Entry LLB);
- Application deadlines are 1 October or 1 April of each year; and
- Intake dates are November and May of each year.
Thus, the Bachelor of Laws degree is an internationally recognised award that you can study flexibly, in places like Singapore, Bermuda, Canada and anywhere in the world. The focus of the course is different to other UK universities. The University of London challenge students by making them develop a critical awareness of the common law legal tradition and apply problem-solving skills to a range of contemporary and up-to-date legal issues, through their own curriculum.

All assessments are 100% exam. The only exception to this rule is the dissertation, which is graded solely based on a written/typed examination. I will teach you how to write for the dissertation and this is training University of London does not provide. The months of May/June and October are traditionally reserved for these events. During the October session, you are only allowed to participate in a maximum of two modules. Academics who have been assigned to the role of examiner for the University of London Bachelor of Laws LLB examinations both set and mark the exams. They adhere to the high standards expected by students who attend classes on the University of London’s main campuses for their legal education.
